Workshops complained more and more frequently about time-consuming and cost-intensive problems caused by porous and cracked moulded rubber parts. ERNST analyzed the problem and found a first-rate alternative to common natural rubber: the high-perfomance material and synthetic ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, EPDM for short.
